This online course will support you to achieve the DipLCM in Teaching. It is an internationally recognised undergraduate qualification. You can study at your own pace and have 1-2-1 tutorials when you need them.
The course is also available if you do not wish to sit the examination but are interested in developing your career and knowledge as a music teacher.
The course comprises eleven modules. Each leads you through aspect of teaching.

- Health & Safety
- Safeguarding
- Teaching Online / In-person

- Assessment
There is at least one assignment per module. Tutorials can be arranged to help you develop your work. Your assignments will be assessed and feedback given.
By the end of the course, you will have a comprehensive portfolio of teaching resources and an understanding of how to design a course of study. These can then be used to support your qualification and to enhance your teaching practice.
This course will help you to develop and become organised as a music teacher. It will prepare you for the teaching components of the examination. It does not focus on developing your performance ability or knowledge of repertoire. It is assumed that you are already of a sufficient standard.
